I am not sure this the right place for this old thought newly transcribed. Probably “racism”, which is nearly universal due to our evolutionary past and the ancient advisability of avoiding people of other families and tribes, is on the verge of becoming a distraction along with pro-choice, same-sex marriage, legalized pot, religion, prayer in school, standing for national anthem, gun control, obesity, … along with other hot buttons designed to trick people into voting against their own interests and ignoring over-population and inequality of wealth. [I said, “on the verge”.] A few dozen people have all the money. That’s the elephant in the living room.
