How to construct the man-made portion of the world to achieve a universally desired moral outcome

Claudio Schuftan: Among many other desirable outcomes of political reform you have written "To live a life without malnutrition is a fundamental human right…" You have listed many other outcomes that will reduce the death rate without explaining how you will reduce the birth rate sufficiently that the world becomes less populous. But it is unclear just how the energy requirements of a world without malnutrition will be met. I hope it is understood by everyone who answers this question that currently we do not have adequate renewable energy technology to sustain a civilized society without damaging the Earth. In short we do not yet have renewable energy. (Hydroelectric plants provide comparatively little energy.) I think it is better to state the technological requirements of a healthy world and state some options as to how they might eventually be satisfied rather than state the outcomes as moral requirements without giving a hint as to how they will be achieved.
